The other day, I came across a quote by Marianne Williamson that made me pause. It wasn’t because I immediately understood it; actually, it was quite the opposite. The quote suggested that our deepest fear isn\u2019t that we are inadequate, but rather the terrifying possibility that we are powerful beyond measure and more capable than we realize.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At first, I wasn\u2019t sure I entirely agreed. But as I sat with it, I started thinking\u2014not about power or commercial success, but about the subtle nature of hesitation. Lately, I\u2019ve noticed a pattern in my own life. There are moments when I feel myself standing completely still. It\u2019s not because I want to quit, and it\u2019s not because I don\u2019t believe in the vision. It is simply because I can\u2019t fully see what\u2019s ahead, and sometimes, that heavy blanket of uncertainty can feel paralyzing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Have you ever caught yourself doing that? You have a brilliant idea, a massive goal, a sacred dream, or a specific next step you know you deeply need to take. But right as you get ready to leap, doubt quietly shows up in the room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The questions start rushing in: What if this doesn\u2019t work? What if nobody cares? What if I\u2019m wrong? What if I completely fail?<\/em> These questions don\u2019t always stop you dead in your tracks. Instead, they do something much more subtle\u2014they cause you to pause. And if we aren’t careful, that temporary pause can last much longer than we ever intended.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When Standing Still Feels Safer<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The more I reflected on this pattern, the more I realized that playing small doesn\u2019t always look like giving up or throwing in the towel. Sometimes, playing small looks like waiting for absolute certainty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We find ourselves waiting until we know exactly how everything will unfold, waiting until the fear completely disappears, or waiting until we feel 100% ready. But authentic growth rarely works that way. Most of the time, we have to move forward long before we have all the answers. We are called to take the next step without ever seeing the entire path, and that is exactly where faith becomes necessary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Power of Alignment: Choosing Faith Over Hesitation<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

What FemiLux \u00c9ra Taught Me<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

When I first started building what would eventually become FemiLux \u00c9ra<\/strong>, I questioned myself constantly<\/sup>. The inner critic loved to ask: Why me? Am I hearing this correctly? What if nobody understands? What if this never becomes what I hope it will?<\/em> Those heavy thoughts showed up more than once.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yet, despite the noise, something kept pulling me forward. It wasn’t a guarantee of success or perfect clarity\u2014it was just a quiet, soulful knowing that I needed to keep moving<\/sup><\/sup><\/sup>. One step. One post. One blog. One small decision at a time<\/sup>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Looking back, I don\u2019t think my greatest obstacle was ever failure. My greatest obstacle was hesitation\u2014the constant temptation to stand still because the future wasn\u2019t fully visible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Choosing Movement Anyway<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Maybe that\u2019s why this quote stayed with me. It didn\u2019t give me a neat little answer, but it gave me a beautiful question to carry: How many times do we pause our own growth because we\u2019re waiting to feel ready?<\/em> How many incredible opportunities remain untouched simply because uncertainty feels uncomfortable? And how much could radically change in our lives if we simply chose to take the next step anyway? Not fearlessly, and certainly not perfectly\u2014just faithfully.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Closing Reflection<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Sometimes playing small isn\u2019t about a lack of potential. Sometimes it\u2019s simply standing at the edge of massive growth and wondering if you have what it takes to survive the transition. Faith looks like moving forward before you know exactly where the road leads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
